Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys substantive legal work, case management, and supporting attorneys across diverse practice areas. Criteria:
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• File documents with courts and administrative agencies (electronically and in person).
• Perform legal research and summarize findings.
• Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and hard copy.
• Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule appointments, deadlines, depositions, and meetings.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including preparation of exhibits and trial notebooks.
• Assist with submitting expenses and time entries and assist with billing-related tasks.
• Coordinate and track discovery requests and responses.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, and hearings.
• Provide general administrative support and assist with other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience as a paralegal or in a role with significant legal support responsibilities preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with document management systems and e-filing is a plus.
• Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
